Sadguru Dr. Mangeshda at United Buddhist Mission Event
Sadguru Yogiraj Dr. Mangeshda attended the Bhikkhu Sangha’s United Buddhist Mission event as one of the honoured chief guests, where he shared the stage with Chief Guest Shri Mangal Prabhat Lodha and other dignitaries.
The programme was organised to celebrate 75th birthday of noted Buddhist monk Dr. Bhadant Rahul Bodhiji, known for his Buddhist propagation and social & educational initiatives in Mumbai and beyond.
Sadguru Mangeshda spoke about how Dr. Rahul Bodhiji has dedicated himself to spreading the message of Gautam Buddha, conducting Dhamma classes, education for children and community‑oriented programmes through the Mission and associated events. Dr. Bhadant Rahul Bodhi has conducted extensive research and teaching on Vipassana meditation, delivering insightful speeches on its practical applications for modern life and authoring nine books on social awakening through Dhamma to propagate Buddha's teachings.
Sadguruji emphasised that such tireless efforts in education, peace work and community upliftment mirror the spirit of selfless service that Kriya Yoga and Buddhist teachings both advocate.
Sadguru Yogiraj Dr. Mangeshda's participation underscored the inter‑faith and inter‑tradition harmony of the programme, bringing together Buddhist leaders and a renowned Kriya Yoga master on a common platform dedicated to human values and service. Hari Om.
